Pleated Filters                                                       

Amazon Filters provides pleated cartridges using a range of different media types including polypropylene, glass fibre and nylon mesh with absolute removal ratings ranging from 0.3 – 400 µm. Filters can be supplied in standard format or as large diameter, high flow versions. Pleated cartridge filters are constructed with a large surface area of thin filter media, pleated to fit into a relatively small assembly. This results in a filter that offers high flow rates and low pressure losses.

SupaPore PPG

All polypropylene SupaPore PPG filters are designed as effective prefilters to membrane filters and as final polishing filters. They are suitable for many liquid processing applications and can also be used for particulate control in air and gases. They are available in a range of absolute removal ratings and, offer excellent chemical compatibility.

SupaPore PPG Microfiltration cartridges have been designed as an effective membrane prefilters and as final polishing filters for many liquid processing applications.

Manufactured using 100% polypropylene media, drainage layers and hardware, the SupaPore PPG pleated depth cartridge offers excellent chemical compatibility across a wide range of liquid processing applications. Its thermally bonded construction ensures minimal extractables and its high filtration efficiency makes it an excellent choice for use in many chemical & water treatment processes.

The construction utilises thermal welding techniques to seal all the components therefore eliminating adhesives and extractables and optimising cartridge integrity.

SupaPore PPG cartridges use pleated depth media and are available in standard diameter and Junior sizes with micron ratings from 0.5µm to 40µm in the full range of industry standard lengths and end cap styles.

SupaPore Halar

SupaPore Halar filters are constructed using Halar ECTFE media . Halar ECTFE is a fluoropolymer offering a unique combination of mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance and these filters are specifically designed to offer excellent compatibility and effective removal of particulates from solvents and solvent based liquids. They also provide high flow rates, low pressure drops and long life.

SupaPore Halar filters are constructed using Halar fluoropolymer media offering a unique combination of mechanical properties and thermal and chemical resistance. These filters are specifically designed to offer excellent compatibility and effective removal of particulates from solvents, solvent based liquids and ozonated water.

SupaPore Halar filters offer greater compatibility than polypropylene media filters at a cost that is typically lower than PTFE membrane cartridges. The advanced pleated meltblown media used in these filters provides both high flow rates and long life. They are also available with nylon 6 cage, core and end-caps to widen the range of applications SupaPore Halar filters can be used in.

The use of ozone to control bioburden in purified water systems is increasing and ozonated water can damage standard polypropylene cartridges. SupaPore Halar cartridges are excellent for this application, exhibiting enhanced compatibility for water dosed with ozone. They are also used as vent filters to protect water tanks from particulate contamination.

Membrane Filters                                                       

We are able to offer absolute rated pleated membrane filters with either hydrophilic polyethersulphone (PES) or hydrophobic PTFE media. Typically SupaPore VP PES filters (rated 0.03 – 1 µm) are used for aqueous solutions and SupaPore TP PTFE filters (rated 0.1 – 3 µm) are used for air, gas and solvents. These are supported with comprehensive technical documentation.

Membrane cartridge filters are usually constructed with a large surface area of thin polymeric filter media, pleated to fit into a relatively small assembly. This results in a filter that offers high flow rates and low pressure losses. Typically these filters are used in critical applications in the Beverage, Fine Chemicals, Micro Electronics and Pharmaceutical industries.

SupaPore VP

SupaPore VP Microfiltration cartridges use a pleated high surface area Polyethersulphone membrane that has been designed for use in a wide range of liquid processing applications. The naturally hydrophilic PES membrane contains no wetting agents and has very low levels of extractables making this cartridge an ideal choice for systems requiring a reliable and consistent high-quality filtrate.

SupaPore TP

SupaPore TP filters utilise a PTFE membrane to make the best hydrophobic cartridge available. They are ideal as a sterilising vent filter and for the filtration of critical air and gases. SupaPore TP can also be used for liquid processes, where the PTFE media rated at 0.1–3 µm offers excellent chemical compatibility.

SupaPore TP Microfiltration cartridges have been designed specifically for use in a wide range of aggressive gas and liquid processing applications. Its naturally hydrophobic PTFE membrane makes this cartridge an ideal choice for systems requiring excellent compatibility, reliability and a consistently high quality filtrate.

Depth Filters                                                       

Amazon Filters are recognized as leaders in the field of meltblown depth filter cartridge technology. Our leading edge research has resulted in the manufacture of filters where the diameters of the blown fibres are controlled to produce different pore sizes throughout the production process. This enables the retention of contaminants throughout the depth of the media. All the layers are inter-linked to offer maximum support while ensuring that the high void volume is maintained. The fibre density is increased towards the inside of the media giving true progressive retention and therefore long filter life.

SupaSpun II precision graded density filter elements are a further development of our already well proven absolute rated depth type filter. These high performance cartridges excel in dirt holding capacity and give extremely low clean pressure losses as a result of the strictly controlled manufacturing of the fibre matrix. They are a possible replacement for Pall Profile II filters.

SupaSpun II fibres are blown continuously onto a central support core, with fibre diameters controlled to produce different pore sizes throughout the extrusion process. All the layers are inter-linked to offer maximum support while ensuring that the high void volume is maintained, but with increasing fibre density towards the cartridge central core - therefore resulting in true depth filtration.

Elements are available up to 1524mm (60”) in length, either double open ended or with most common end cap fittings.

Bag Filters                                                       

Amazon's DuoLine range of bag filters offer a comprehensive solution to liquid filtration requirements in a wide range of applications, including paints, printing inks, oils and coolants in metal cutting, pharmaceuticals and food processing. They are available in a variety of materials and media types to suit most processes and our range includes specialist oil absorbent bags. DuoLine Felt

DuoLine Felt bags are manufactured using a needlefelt type media providing both surface and depth filtration for maximum dirt capacity. They can be supplied with either polypropylene, polyester, nylon or high temperature Nomex media. All bags are silicone free and polypropylene bags are made from FDA compliant materials.

DuoLine Felt filter bags have been designed to provide effective filtration for a wide range of applications using a variety of filter media.
